Professor Adrian Linacre是国际知名的DNA领域专家，自1988年起一直从事DNA相关的科研和教学工作，在DNA提取、扩增和STR分型，唇印/指印等脱落细胞发现DNA，定量PCR优化与分析，动植物DNA检验等领域有着深刻研究。

法庭实践：

1.2003年至2009年任英国鉴定人执业登记委员会（CRFP）体液分析、血液分析和DNA分析方面注册法医和陪审法官，作为12名陪审员之一，参加了30余次审理；

2. 苏格兰刑事案件审查委员会(SCCRC)顾问，负责对案件是否有理由进行全面上诉听证会进行审查；

1994 – 2019 Authorised by the Secretary of State for Scotland under Section 280(1) of the Criminal Procedures (Scotland) Act 1995, as well as Section 280(5), equivalent to Section 26(1) of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 1980 to perform work for the Courts in the field of DNA Profiling.
